The subject matter of the public contract is generation of high-energy few-cycle (less than 7 fs) pulses based on hollow fiber pulse compression. Laser beam with duration around 20 – 30 fs will be focused into the hollow fiber filled with a noble gas. The pulse spectrum will be broadened by self-phase modulation in the hollow fiber. The broad spectrum is necessary for generation of few-cycle pulses. The pulse out of the hollow fiber will be recollimated and sent to chirped mirrors where its duration will be compressed below 7 fs.
